Playmats Care

Our playmats are made from super-soft, spongy memory foam, providing your little ones with a thick and cushioned surface to play on! Due to the thickness and softness of the foam, you might notice some mild creasing when you first unbox your new playmat. To help smooth this out, gently fold the mat in the opposite direction of the creases. Give it a few days, and the creases will naturally relax and flatten.

Please avoid ironing your playmat. If you’d like to speed up the process, you can carefully use a steamer on the top fabric to help release the creases. Just make sure to avoid steaming the back of the mat to keep the gel dots intact.

We recommend rotating your playmat every few weeks to limit any discolouration or fading from sunlight.

Avoid placing any heavy furniture or sharp objects on your playmat that may puncture or imprint the memory foam.

Due to the fabrication, we advise that our playmats are only used inside.

Do not use on heated flooring due to the risk of melting the gel dot backing.

Vacuum regularly with low to medium suction, and avoid using any harsh brush or bristle attachments. We advise against using a Robovac, as the thickness of the foam may cause it to get stuck.

If an accident occurs, try to act as promptly as possible. Start by blotting up as much of the spill as you can with a clean, damp cloth or sponge. Then, mix a mild detergent with warm water and gently blot the stain with a fresh cloth or sponge. Avoid rubbing, as this can rub the stain deeper into the fibres. Steer clear of harsh detergents or chemical cleaners. Before cleaning the whole mat, we recommend testing your cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area to make sure it won’t damage the fabric. It is important to let your playmat dry completely after cleaning. To speed up drying, gently press a clean dry cloth or paper towel onto the wet area to absorb excess moisture. Then, allow the playmat to air dry in a shaded spot until fully dry.

• Infants should not be left to sleep on the playmat unattended. Do not put objects or accessories in an infant’s sleep environment. Infants should be placed to sleep on a firm, flat surface only.

• Place infants on their backs when using this product.

• Do not place this product near a blind, cord, strap or similar item that could become wrapped around an infant’s neck.
