Part of the Timeless Miss Amara collection, Adisa is a reversible flatweave rug in charcoal with a simple woven diamond pattern. Crafted by hand in the flatweave style, Adisa borrows from Scandinavian design with an elegantly simple woven diamond pattern in a beautiful charcoal colourway.

This playful Scandi design will help to bring an element of texture into any setting. Made of strong and flexible jute fibres, Adisa is a super hard wearing, low profile style ideal for those high traffic areas in the house such as the dining room.

Grown and processed without any synthetic chemicals, jute is also eco-friendly and hypoallergenic, making it a safe option for family homes and a great choice for the sustainably minded.

This product is lovingly handmade by skilled artisans and as such may encounter variations in pattern and colour which may vary from the images shown, this is entirely normal and part of the inherent nature of the production techniques. The size may also vary up to 5% in length and width due to natural variations in materials.

Great style limited finish

The rug is exactly as advertised, great style, good price and delivery was fast and efficient.

The rug finishing was a bit rough with loose threads and missed stitches.

The main problem was the smell. It had a strong damp mouldy smell which we are still trying to displace.

Miss Amara (NZ)

Hey Gregory, thanks for your feedback about the lovely Adisa. It really does look great and suit very well in your beautiful space. We're happy to know that you're satisfied with the rug's design and our service.
Like new cars, the rugs can have a new smell that dissipates quite quickly. All rugs are treated with chemicals, however, please be reassured that all our products are tested to meet the high standards required by Australian law, so no need to fear.
In the past, we have had people use a fan to push more air through it, or lightly vacuuming it helps. We have had also had customers use bicarb soda and a few drops of essential oils to help with the smell! If you add 1 cup of bicarb soda to a glass jar with a lid, followed by a couple or drops of essential oils, give the mix a shake and lightly sprinkle it over the rug and leave for 30-45 min then vacuum it up!
The few pieces of loose threads are very normal as it's a new rug. You can gently vacuum regularly and the rug will settle down in your space eventually.
The above should help!
I hope that eases your mind. Please let us know if you still have any concerns after a few days.
