Natural shedding can be expected and this is normal. New wool rugs will visibly shed in the first few months and will be low-shed after this time. The shedding will lessen after the first 3-6 months depending on the level of use.

Great quality rug, very heavy and thick. I love the scalloped edge look on the longer sides. Even though the rug is pale there is a lot of colour variation up close (eg the grey woven through) so it doesn’t look obvious when there is a bit of dirt, debris, grass etc tracked in by the kids. I’ve only had it a week and so far a lot of fluff comes off each time I vacuum it so I will see how that holds up, but for now I couldn’t be more thrilled with the look and how it completes our room.
