A truly unique design piece, Sahara is a flatweave style transitional rug featuring a vibrant pink backdrop and traditional floral medallion design.
Designed as part of the exclusive Miss Amara Collection, Sahara has been finished with a distressed abrash effect to mimic the overdyed look of authentic antique rugs and features a low, flatweave profile that is quite unusual for a traditional style rug. This makes it a great way to add an element of elegant style to those medium traffic areas of the home or under furniture.
Woven using the intricate jacquard technique, Sahara is lovingly made in India from silky cotton chenille/polyester blend fibres that are an absolute dream underfoot and give the rug a subtle luminous quality as it picks up light from different angles.

Due to the nature of textile dyes, colour transfer may occur if the rug comes into contact with liquids. Promptly blot any spills with a clean, dry cloth to minimise potential staining.

It’s a lovely rug, good quality and good value, just a bit duller colour wise and not as pink as I was expecting, but I guess seeing things online can be quite different in real life.

Purchased this hall runner along with another. Love them so kept them both.
While this says “light traffic” we are very clean & don’t wear shoes inside so it suits our needs.
The pink is soft, pale & even nicer to see in person.

The Sahara Turkish hall runner is perfect for our hall. The distressed look is good as it doesn't distract from the artwork in the hall. It warms the area up instantly and matches our villa well.
